Bold face là 1 trong những dạng khó nhất của CR. Mọi người thử nhé!

A study seems to show that colleges offered a much better education decades ago than they do today. A comparison of the results of a test given to college seniors in both 1955 and 2002 revealed that in 1955 the average senior had more knowledge in most subjects than the average senior in 2002. We should point out that more students with lesser academic ability are attending college nowadays. We cannot expect them to learn as much of what college still offers.

Actually, this question is one I collected from the internet. I have no official answer for it.

My choice is D.

We should point out that more students with lesser academic ability are attending college nowadays. --> Students nowadays are lesser academic ability then students decades ago --> in 1955 the average senior had more knowledge in most subjects than the average senior in 2002.

We cannot expect them to learn as much of what college still offers.
Consider the bold phrase --> colleges still offer what they did offer decades ago.

--> The statement that colleges offered a much better education decades ago than they do today is weakened.

The reason for the fact that in 1955 the average senior had more knowledge in most subjects than the average senior in 2002 is Students nowadays are lesser academic ability then students decades ago, not colleges offered a much better education decades ago than they do today
