It's too ironic and unfair that she got such a bad ending for such a
great act. But in this case, I believe we can at least make some
difference. My friend in VN has found her contact and the hospital she
is in right now and planning to go visit her sometime next week. I
would like to put together a donation fund for the girl's
rehabilitation and possibly for getting her a new artificial leg.
If you want to make a donation, you can give it to me through wire,
cash, or check and I will send all of the money back together sometime
next week. Please email me for arrangements. If you don't have time
(or the money) right now, you can just email me the amount you want to
donate, and give it to me later whenever possible. To start things
off, I'm putting in $200 of my money, but by all means, please don't
feel obligated to match this. Any amount you're comfortable with ($10,
