B-schools for MSc

Hi guys,

I have been searching for popular b-schools that offer MSc in Marketing Research or Finance. Afer going over the ranking both from BizWeek and US news, of the Top 30, hardly any b-schools provide program as I want. Strangely enough, I ask myself which source should I rely on to find a good MSc program?

Any insight that help me find the end of the tunnel are welcome

P/S: I alreayd obtained an MBA degree which is not from the US but I still find this forum very very interesting and informative. Actually, application requirements for MSc in business do not deviate much from those of MBA

Bạn chỉ muốn top 30 thôi? Mình không rõ hiện nay Simon (University of Rochester) rank thế nào. Nó có MS Finance, and one of the prerequisites to apply is to possess an MBA degree.

Hiện em mới thấy Tulsa là có Spring term, thậm chí cả summer term, hôm trước chị h20hn alumni của Tulsa cũng recommend cho em.Tìm 1 cái rank cho MSF đúng là khó quá :D. Em đang nhắm trường không cần top lắm, có spring term cho MSF :D.
Mấy trường còn lại trong list có anh chị nào có chút thông tin nào chia sẻ không ạ :D?

Lâm thử check out chương trình MSF của Rochester Institute of Technology, nơi được vinh dự có alumna nổi tiếng forum mình vừa được KPMG Hoa Kỳ thăng chức xem sao.

Đấy có phải là chị Ngân không ạ :D, em đọc thấy ở topic "chúc mừng..." :D. Em cũng đang apply vào KPMG VN mà chưa biết thế nào :D.

Chương trình MSF của Vanderbilt chỉ học 1 năm và không có Spring term.

Marketing research thì có Wiscosin hay University of Georgia.
(Nhưng sao lại hỏi vừa marketing research vừa finance nhỉ? )

Về Marketing Research, Univeristy of Wiscosin và University of Georgia là hai trường có chương trình dạy nổi tiếng về tính thực tiễn (applied orientation) và được dân trong ngành đánh giá cao nhất. (Mặc dù University of Georgia không có ranking top tiếc gì.). Ngoài ra có thêm một trường nữa để xem xét The University of Texas at Arlington.

Trong 4 trường này mọi người nhận xét là trường nào tốt nhất nếu học MSF không ạ? Em vẫn đang tiếp tục nghiên cứu các trường vì mới được KPMG offer jobs nên muốn đi làm chút để có chút kinh nghiệm :D.

Trong 4 trường đó thì khó mà nói trường nào "tốt nhất" lắm. Nhưng nói về location thì có vẻ Dallas dễ xin việc hơn các chỗ còn lại một chút. Philadelphia cũng là thành phố lớn, nhưng có nhiều competitions hơn.
